OUR THERMAL WATER
The waters of the Aquatonic are mesothermal and hyperthermal, developing therapeutic actions that improve the quality of life of our visitors. The facilities have springs with temperatures ranging from 41ºC to 81ºC. Our thermal waters are of natural origin, and are composed of:
Sodium chloride
Helps to purify the body.
Calcium bicarbonate
Indicated for dermopathies, rheumatic processes, neuralgias and gynaecopathies.
Sulphate
Helps with digestive system disorders.
Lithium
Mood stabiliser, sedative.
Magnesium
Regulator of the neuromuscular system and activator of enzyme systems.

How does it work?
The thermal-circuit route at Aquatonic in Tarragona is made up of different phases, and it is essential to follow them in the correct order so that each phase affects the body appropriately.
In the first section, you will find three pools. The first one offers the cervical area with waterfalls and cylinders for maximum enjoyment, the second one has an area with 32.7° water baths, and the third one provides fast water baths at 34°, where you will also find the jacuzzi These elements, such as waterfalls, hammocks, or subaquatic pressurized water jets, help to relax the muscles, increase joint mobility, and generate a pleasant state of relaxation.
Next, in zone 4, you will find the frigidarium and caldarium, which enhance the healing effect. Then, in zone 5, you can enjoy a Turkish bath that promotes sweating, the dilation of blood vessels, and the elimination of toxins.
The circuit concludes with a rest phase in a quiet area of the spa, where you will find warm beds ideal for relaxing once the session is over.

Where does the thermal water come from?
Aquatonic thermal waters come from natural spring waters located very close to the hotel.
What do I need to bring?
Remember to bring a bathing cap and flip-flops. At Termes Montbrió we will provide you with a bathrobe. In case you forget these essentials, we can provide you with non-slip slippers for €2.50, non-slip socks for €4 each and bathing caps for €2.
Do guests need to wear a cap and flip-flops?
Yes, guests and non-guests must wear a bathing cap and flip-flops.
What are the opening hours at the Aquatonic?
Sunday to Friday: 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
Saturdays: from 10:00 to 22:00.
Is there a way to privatize the area?
We offer a private experience for those seeking exclusivity in our Thermal Spa, with a capacity for a maximum of 10 people.
Are children allowed in the Aquatonic?
Children from 5 years old can explore all the facilities as long as they go along with an adult.
Are people with health problems and pregnant women allowed to use the Aquatonic?
The use of Aquatonic is not recommended for pregnant women and people with low blood pressure. It is recommended that you ask your doctor before. The facility is accessible to people with disabilities.
Are there lockers for storing belongings?
We offer lockers that work with coins of 1 euro or 0.50 cents. These coins are returned to the guests after their experience.
How long can I use the Aquatonic?
You can use the Aquatonic for a maximum period of 2 hours depending on the opening time.
